Rtn. V.G. Anandram, an active Rotarian of RID 3203, is a remarkable blend of entrepreneurial spirit, unwavering dedication to community service, and a deep commitment to family values. Born in Attur, Salem District, and his journey from humble beginnings to a respected person in both business and social activities. With roots steeped in a family history of Indian Independence movement and participation, Anandram carries forward a legacy of dedication and service.

Early Life

Anandram's younger years were spent in Salem, a city that shaped his early education and knowledge. He hails from a simple and humble family, influenced significantly by his father, Mr. N.V. Govindarajulu, a retired technical engineer from the Indian Navy. His father's two-decade service, including training in Russia and active participation in the Indo-Pak War of 1971, inspired Anandram for a strong sense of duty and resilience. After his father's retirement, the family settled permanently in Salem, where Anandram completed his education.

Pioneering in Textiles

In 1996, seeking new horizons, Anandram ventured to Chennai to begin his career in the dynamic textile industry. He spent a decade learning the skills and gaining valuable experience across various departments within a multinational Company. This rich exposure laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial leap.

In 2007, he moved to Tirupur, the textile hub, to establish his own venture – Dedicated Buying Services. Starting with a team of two, his visionary leadership and dedication have transformed it into a thriving agency with a team of ten, proudly completing 18 successful years in the industry. Expanding on his success, he also established his own garment manufacturing unit, Fashion First, which today employs a workforce of 100 people, further solidifying his footprint in the textile sector. Beyond garments, his diverse business portfolio includes being a Bharat Petroleum Dealer.

His Pillar of Support

Behind every successful man is a supportive family. Anandram is happily married to Rtn MD Havishmathi, who is an integral part of his entrepreneurial journey, actively assisting him in his business endeavours. They are blessed with two children: a bright daughter, Dhanya Smruthi, who is currently pursuing her college education, and a dynamic son, Nehaal, studying in the 9th standard. His family remains his constant source of inspiration and strength.
